2026年2月12日、「How to Pitch to Investors」をテーマとしたウェビナーを開催しました。

講師は、米国スタートアップの資金調達戦略に精通する Karina Sotnik 氏が務めました。 本セッションでは、日本企業が米国VCから資金調達を行う際の実務的・制度的ポイントについて解説が行われました。

特に、「投資家は技術そのものではなく、実行可能なチームと明確なマイルストーンに投資する」という視点が強調され、投資家目線でのストーリー設計の重要性が示されました。 また、SAFEやConvertible Noteなどの米国資金調達手法、Delaware C-Corp設立の実務的意義、投資家選定やWarm Introductionの重要性、ピッチ構成の要点についても具体的に紹介されました。

We held a webinar titled “How to Pitch to Investors with Karina Sotnik” on February 12, 2026, featuring Karina Sotnik, an expert in U.S. startup fundraising strategy.

The session addressed key practical and institutional considerations for Japanese companies raising capital from U.S. venture capital firms. A core message was that investors fund teams and execution capability—not technology alone—highlighting the importance of framing a pitch around a clear investment thesis.

Ms. Sotnik also covered major U.S. fundraising instruments such as SAFE and Convertible Notes, the practical importance of establishing a Delaware C-Corp, strategies for investor targeting and warm introductions, and the essential structure of pitch deck.
