iCONM in collaboration with BioLabs、アステラス製薬株式会社、一般社団法人ライフサイエンス・イノベーション・ネットワーク・ジャパン（LINK-J）、および米国BioLabs社の四者が共催して、「Investor Day Japan 2026」を開催いたします。 本イベントでは、日本のBioLabs Friendsが集結し、BioLabsのグローバルネットワークとともに、アーリーミドル期の創薬スタートアップが自らの創薬ストーリーを国内外の投資家・創薬専門家に発信する場を提供いたします。参加スタートアップが本イベントを通じて新たなビジネスチャンスを掴み、創薬事業の成長を加速させることを目指します。
本プログラムでは、スタートアップによるピッチプレゼンテーションに加え、製薬企業との協業および創薬事業の成長をテーマとした2つのパネルディスカッションを実施します。パネル1では、創薬 スタートアップと製薬企業との協業を創ることを目的とし、ファーマ登壇者が「どのようなスタート アップと協業したいのか」「臨床PoC取得前の案件をどのように評価するのか」「ファーマ視点で の “協業したいサイエンス” とは何か」についての見解を共有します。スタートアップ登壇者からは、過去の協業事例をもとに、ディールにつながった評価ポイントを紹介します。パネル2では、 “きらりと光るサイエンス” がどのような苦労を介して有望なスタートアップへと成長するのか、そして成長したスタートアップが現在どのような課題を抱えているかに焦点を当て、研究成果の事業化と創薬へと繋げるための考え方や視点について議論します。
The Innovation Center of NanoMedicine (iCONM) in collaboration with BioLabs, Astellas Pharma Inc., Life Science Innovation Network Japan (LINK-J), and BioLabs Global (U.S.) will co-host Investor Day Japan 2026. This event brings together the BioLabs Friends in Japan and the global BioLabs network to provide a platform for early- to mid-stage drug discovery startups to share their stories with investors and industry experts from Japan and around the world. Through this event, we aim to help participating startups seize new business opportunities and accelerate the growth of their drug discovery ventures.
In addition to startup pitch presentations, the program will feature two panel discussions focused on pharma collaboration and the growth of drug discovery startups. Panel 1 aims to explore how collaborations between drug discovery startups and pharmaceutical companies are formed. Pharma speakers will share their perspectives on what types of startups they are interested in partnering with, how projects are evaluated prior to clinical proof of concept, and what constitutes “science worth collaborating on” from a pharma perspective. Startup speakers will also draw on past collaboration experiences to highlight the key factors that led to successful deals. Panel 2 will focus on how scientifically distinctive ideas evolve into promising startups through various challenges, as well as the issues that growing startups face today. The discussion will examine the perspectives and lessons needed to translate research into viable businesses and drug discovery programs.
