Speaker
Catherine Liyun Zhang advises startups and growth-stage companies on company formation, corporate governance, venture capital financing (from pre-seed to Series A and beyond), mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. With a strong background in science and chemistry, she brings a distinctive, business-oriented perspective to advising clients in the life sciences, including biotech, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare. She frequently counsels international companies on U.S. market entry strategies, including subsidiary formation and joint ventures, and serves as outside general counsel to companies across various growth stages.
