Cassidy Blundell 
Principal, Mission BioCapital

Cassidy Blundell, PhD is a Principal based in Mission BioCapital’s Cambridge office. She is responsible for sourcing and assessing new investment opportunities as part of the diligence team as well as assisting in management of the portfolio. She holds board roles at ARase Therapeutics, Mediar Therapeutics, and Volnay Therapeutics. Before joining Mission BioCapital as an analyst in 2018, Cassidy completed her graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in the HHMI Interfaces program. Cassidy’s doctoral research focused on development of microengineered in vitro systems to study the human placenta which were used to investigate maternal-fetal transport and placental development. Cassidy holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University.


Kristina Kitko 
Associate Director, Lily Ventures

Kristina Kitko, PhD is currently Associate Director of Venture Science at Eli Lilly. She is based in San Francisco CA as part of the broader West Coast group within Global Corporate Business Development primarily targeting early-stage research across Lilly’s 5 core therapeutic areas. Her role supports Lilly’s multiple external venture investments in both funds and companies globally (>$2B) as well as due diligence and search and evaluation initiatives. She works on deals across multiple modalities and therapeutic areas for Lilly.Kristina comes from an operational background within biotech. Prior to Lilly she worked in Corporate Strategy at Crinetics Pharmaceuticals and in venture creation at Flagship Pioneering and as an independent consultant. Kristina completed her PhD in Interdisciplinary Materials Science from Vanderbilt University as an NSF IGERT fellow and her postdoctoral training in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT.


Ryan Brady
Head of Global Discovery Business Development,
Evotec International GmbH

Ryan Brady is a seasoned pharma and biotech Business Development Executive, with over 20 years of drug development and strategic transactions expertise. Ryan began his career as an organic chemist at Eli Lilly and Co. in Indianapolis.  From the beginning he has been passionate about facilitating innovation in creative ways.  This led Ryan to transition from the lab to Lilly’s External Innovations group, where he supported strategic relationships and helped move external innovations forward.  Following Lilly, Ryan joined BioDuro in Beijing, China where he built and led a global BD team focused on the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Since 2012, Ryan has been a leader in Evotec’s business development team where he has been instrumental in growing and shaping Evotec’s global business development strategy Discovery R&D group.  Ryan is responsible for developing, leading, and executing creative deals including working with many early-stage biotech’s and creation of NewCo’s leveraging Evotec’s assets and platforms that have helped Evotec become and continue to be a strategic research and development partner to many life sciences companies.

Lindsay Bourgeois joins us with several years of experience developing startups as both Site Manager and Director of Operations for Lake Pharma, and Director of Program Management at BioRasi. She brings knowledge of both hands-on lab bench experience in research and development, managing laboratory operations, and supervising project management and lab staff. Currently Lindsay is helping develop the LA bioscience ecosystem, as Director of BioLabs LA at the Lundquist Institute and co-chair of the Biocom California LA Startup Resources Committee.
