iCONM in collaboration with BioLabsでは、10月10日（木）6:15 pmより、ネットワーキングイベント「Global Growth Unlocked ~創薬スタートアップの海外戦略~ “Expert Strategies for Japanese Biotech Startups Expanding into the Global Market”」を開催します。
BioLabs@ハイデルベルクにラボを構えヨーロッパ展開を進めるマイキャン・テクノロジーズより伏原 和久 氏と、日本を拠点とするグローバルなパーソナライズドヘルススタートアップのDaniel Maggs 氏、前臨床から薬事承認まで、CROとして幅広いステージで開発を支援してきたEvotecよりChristian Buhlmann 氏、そして、喘息の新規治療法の開発を進めるスイスのスタートアップAtopia TherapeuticsよりGrégoire Chevalier 氏がスピーカーとして登壇します。創薬スタートアップの海外戦略は多様な形があります。ぜひみなさまご参加ください。

Head of Business Development in Prospection
Daniel Maggs is a bilingual, multi-skilled healthtech entrepreneur, currently helping pharmaceutical companies refine their drug marketing strategies through patient data analysis. Daniel previously founded Bisu, a personalized nutrition startup that helped people track their health in the comfort of their own home, using microfluidic urine diagnostics. Earlier in my career he was a product manager, tech banker and corporate lawyer. Daniel am fluent in Japanese including business, legal, financial and medical terminology.
伏原 和久
マイキャン・テクノロジーズ株式会社 取締役CFO
1993年に工学部の大学院で材料化学の修士課程を修了した後、タイヤメーカーに就職し、27年間に渡ってタイヤ・ゴルフボールの材料に関する研究開発に従事。国内外の大学・企業との共同研究を行い、新規材料の基礎研究から事業化までを実践してきました。専門分野としてはポリマーのラジカル重合、天然ゴムの生合成機構解明、ゴムの架橋構造解析。出願特許数は80を超える。
2008年から社会人学生として経営大学院にて経営学を学び、2011年に卒業。その後、経営大学院の同級生が起業したマイキャン・テクノロジーズ株式会社に誘われ、2020年からCOO兼CFOとして経営に参画。組織開発・資金調達・新規事業開発と経営全般に従事。2回の資金調達を行い、NEDOのDTSU事業等を活用しながら事業化を促進している。
スタートアップ・大企業・大学の枠にとらわれず、技術を基にした新規事業創出を常に実践・支援したいと考えており、特に実践人材の育成にも力をいれている。キャリアコンサルタントの資格も持ち、技術者や研究者などの後進の育成にも携わり、新規事業創出、事業化推進のためのメンタリング等も行っている。

Christian spend the last 30+ years working in the life sciences sector in various functions within sales and marketing. His career started in diagnostics, then moved to the dialysis industry and finally hit the CRO industry in the year 2000. His assigned responsibilities covered leading teams up to 20 men strong and up to $500+ m sales targets across the globe. Christian has worked for several clinical CROs (large and mid-sized) and most recently for a preclinical service provider. With this exposure, Christian is set to advise clients on the best path forward in drug development.
The constant feature is Christian’s passion for planning and execution, building and leading teams from the front and a commitment to the client. He considers himself more of a match-maker to bring parties together for creating a win-win situation.

Grégoire Chevalier
Chief Executive Officer
Atopia Therapeutics
Gregoire is the CEO of the Swiss biotech startup Atopia Therapeutics, developing a first-in-class oral therapeutic for asthma. He was previously the Global R&D Program Leader in the French biotech Enterome, holding responsibilities in the development of several immuno-oncology programs. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Scientific Director of the Institut Pasteur, Paris, France.
Gregoire completed his PhD in immunology at the University of Toulouse, France, and completed a postdoc at the Institut Pasteur.
